Bwindi Forest – Home ot over half the population of mountain gorillas in the world, Bwindi impenetrable forest is arguably the star attraction in Kigezi. Situated in Kanungu district, Bwindi forest attractions thousands of gorillas and nature lovers all year round. Batwa pygmies – The Kigeizi region is home to four local tribes namely the Bakiga, Bafumbira, Bahororo & Batwa and among all the four the Batwa are the mst sought after. Being ranked among the shortest tribes in Africa, the Batwa has been a star attraction for years. They are full-time hunter-gatherers who stay in small homesteads in short grass thatched huts and tourists love to learn about their way of life, enjoy their dance performances and also indulge in so,e of the activities like hunting and fruit gathering
